Practice Manager to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $90k - $110k
Position Overview: The Practice Manager leads the daily operations of a large medical office, ensuring efficient, compliant, and patient-centered care delivery. This role oversees staff, financial performance, and process improvement across clinical and administrative functions. The position collaborates closely with physician partners and multidisciplinary teams to maintain high standards of service and operational excellence.
Responsibilities of the Practice Manager:- Oversee daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and support functions to ensure efficiency and quality care.
- Develop and implement office policies and workflows to optimize patient experience and compliance.
- Coordinate provider schedules, operating room time, and ancillary services such as imaging and physical therapy.
- Manage inventory and supplies, including orthopedic-specific equipment and implants.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise front office, billing, and clinical support staff while fostering a collaborative team culture.
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and revenue cycle metrics to ensure financial health and compliance.
- Address patient concerns and implement strategies to improve satisfaction and service quality.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare regulations while maintaining a safe and compliant environment.
- Oversee EHR and practice management systems, using data to guide operational decisions and continuous improvement efforts.
Required Experience/Skills for the Practice Manager:- 3 - 5+ years of healthcare management experience, ideally in an orthopedic or specialty practice.
- Proven ability to manage a large, multi-provider medical office or clinic.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with EHR and practice management software, along with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Practice Manager:- Experience with orthopedic terminology, procedures, and workflows.
- Background in revenue cycle management and payer contract discussions.
- Familiarity with quality improvement and patient safety programs.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated success in staff development and team building.
Education Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field is required.
- Master's degree is preferred.
