We are seeking a Delivery Manager, BPM Enablement Platform to join the our client's Technology organization. This role will support the Enablement Platform Portfolio by driving delivery coordination, vendor engagement, resource management, and operational governance across the BPM Platforms and related BPM initiatives. The Delivery Manager will serve as a key liaison between business requestors, delivery partners, platform leadership, and external vendors to ensure successful execution of platform initiatives.
Duration - 9 Months - could be extended
Location - Newport Beach (CA), Omaha (NE), Charlotte (is remote for the contract portion of this role, but if converted to full time with the client, the role is 4 days onsite).
Pay Range - W2 Hourly - $60.00 - $70.42

How You Will Make an Impact
Intake, Demand, and Requirements Management
- Coordinate Appian Application Request Interview sessions with business requestors to understand objectives, scope, timelines, and delivery needs.
- Facilitate discovery and intake activities to ensure application requests are appropriately documented and aligned with platform standards.
- Coordinate Appian Application Requirement Review sessions with development vendors and technical teams.
- Ensure business requirements, assumptions, dependencies, and risks are clearly communicated and documented.
Vendor and Resource Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for the upcoming Cognizant Managed Services engagement supporting the BPM Enablement Platform.
- Coordinate communications between Pacific Life stakeholders and Cognizant delivery leadership.
- Facilitate governance meetings, action item tracking, and issue resolution activities.
- Serve as a primary coordination point between Pacific Life and external Managed Services development partners.
- Own tracking and management of contracted resources against Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Monitor resource allocations, onboarding, offboarding, utilization, and capacity to ensure alignment with approved funding and priorities.
- Work with vendor leadership to address resource needs, staffing changes, delivery risks, and contractual obligations.
- Monitor and provide visibility into contract lifecycle activities, including initiation, approvals, renewals, amendments, and expirations.
- Partner with finance, sourcing, and vendor management teams to ensure timely processing and compliance with procurement requirements.
Portfolio and Delivery Operations
- Maintain portfolio and project information within Planview, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
- Track project milestones, delivery commitments, risks, issues, and dependencies across platform initiatives.
- Produce delivery reports and status updates for platform leadership and stakeholders.
- Support planning activities, resource forecasting, and operational governance processes.
The Experience You Will Bring
- 5+ years of experience in technology delivery, project management, vendor management, or related roles.
- Experience coordinating software delivery initiatives involving business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing vendor resources and contractual deliverables.
- Familiarity with procurement, contract management, and financial governance processes.
- Experience using project and portfolio management tools such as Planview, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
