General Manager

Dear Charlotte is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the restaurant through its pre-opening phase, grand opening, and beyond. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll shape the foundation of our operation and build a team that reflects our hospitality values from day one.

About the Role

You'll own the complete operational picture from hiring and training our front and back-of-house leadership teams to establishing the service standards and systems that will define the Dear Charlotte experience. Your responsibilities include:

• Guide the restaurant through pre-opening preparation, opening execution, and ongoing daily operations
• Recruit, hire, and develop strong FOH and BOH leadership teams who share your commitment to excellence
• Build comprehensive training systems and operating procedures that ensure consistency and quality
• Foster a culture rooted in genuine hospitality, accountability, and teamwork across all levels
• Make strategic decisions that balance guest experience, team well-being, and business performance

This role demands someone who can think strategically while also rolling up their sleeves in the day-to-day. You'll work closely with ownership and be instrumental in setting the tone for how Dear Charlotte operates and how our team shows up for our guests.
