If you enjoy building relationships, keeping complex processes organized, and helping students succeed, this role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the preparation of future educators.
As the Placement and Office Coordinator in the College of Education, you will serve as a central connection between students, faculty, school district partners, and university staff to ensure high-quality field and clinical experiences. You will coordinate educational placements, monitor student readiness and compliance with program requirements, and help ensure that accreditation standards, university policies, and partnership agreements are met.
Success in this position requires someone who is highly organized, proactive, and detail oriented. You will communicate regularly with students, faculty, and external partners, identify opportunities to strengthen placement processes and services, and help maintain strong relationships with school districts and community partners. Your work will directly contribute to creating meaningful experiential learning opportunities for future educators.
You will also oversee the day-to-day operations of the dean's and advising offices in the College of Education by maintaining accurate records, coordinating meetings and events, preparing correspondence and reports, managing office resources, and ensuring policies and procedures are current. As the person others rely on to keep operations running smoothly, you will independently resolve many day-to-day challenges while collaborating with colleagues on more complex issues.
