Physician - Radiology - Interventional
Job Details:
Full-time Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist position to join a 3-physician/2-APP IR team
Hospital-based IR services with day-shift schedule and Q3 call coverage
Call schedule includes every third weekday and every third weekend
Average of 8 cases per day with primarily adult and geriatric patient demographics
Level I trauma designation facility
Required procedures include angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization)
Additional procedures include orthopedic, gynecology, and urology cases
IR support team includes manager and two APPs
Board certification in Interventional Radiology required
Active Michigan state medical license required (IMLC or compact license not accepted)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
NPDB self-query required at presentation (within 30 days)
Local providers preferred with mileage reimbursement available
Open to travel providers who can provide 2+ weeks of coverage per month
