    Personal Injury Paralegal (Senior-Track)

We serve a large and diverse pool of clients, including many immigrants who own and operate their own small businesses, such as Uber drivers, taxi drivers, and truckers, who depend on us during some of the most stressful periods of their lives.

Our paralegals are trusted professionals who drive outcomes, build systems, and ensure clients are served with rigor and care. This role is designed for someone seeking real responsibility, autonomy, and a clear leadership path within the firm.
    What You'll Do
    • Take substantial ownership over personal injury cases from development through settlement and resolution, under attorney supervision.
    • Lead negotiations with third-party liability adjusters and first-party UIM adjusters.
    • Assist in case valuation, demand strategy, and negotiation planning using independent judgment.
    • Draft, refine, and proofread high-quality demand letters and supporting materials.
    • Serve as a primary client contact, maintaining trust, clarity, and momentum.
    • Negotiate PIP lien waivers, reductions, and other medical liens.
    • Analyze medical records and billing to support settlement posture.
    • Provide day-to-day leadership and mentoring to legal assistants.
    • Act as an escalation point for case-related questions and workflow decisions.
    • Maintain and improve systems using Clio and other client management tools.
    • Identify inefficiencies and proactively design better processes.
    • Work independently with minimal supervision while keeping attorneys informed.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree required.
    • At least three years of experience at a personal injury law firm required.
    • Demonstrated negotiation experience required.
    • Experience negotiating third-party liability claims; UIM experience strongly preferred.
    • Experience negotiating PIP and other medical lien reductions required.
    • Demonstrated servant-style leadership over legal assistants.
    • Highly intelligent with strong judgment and forward-thinking ability.
    • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
    • Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office systems.
    • Proficiency with Clio and other case management systems.
    • Highly self-directed and capable of working without close supervision.

    Compensation & Benefits
    • $50,000 to $90,000 base salary depending on experience
    • Three-month performance period with opportunity for renegotiation and increase
