ROLE IMPACT
Provide high-level legal support to 3-4 attorneys across all phases of personal injury matters, from pre-litigation through trial preparation. This role manages complex case files, protects critical deadlines, anticipates attorney needs, and helps ensure cases progress efficiently and accurately.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage a varied personal injury caseload with minimal supervision, supporting attorneys through pre-litigation, litigation, settlement, and trial preparation.
* Conduct detailed intake, maintain ongoing case communication, and coordinate with insurance adjusters, medical providers, experts, court staff, opposing counsel, and other parties.
* Draft and prepare correspondence, pleadings, discovery responses, motions, subpoenas, settlement demand packages, and other case-related legal documents.
* Request, review, organize, and summarize medical records, medical bills, wage records, police reports, and expert materials; prepare settlement demands and provide negotiation support.
* Track statutes of limitation, discovery deadlines, and court-imposed timelines; coordinate filings, depositions, mediations, hearings, independent medical examinations, and trial preparation, including exhibits, witness lists, subpoenas, trial notebooks, and courtroom logistics.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* 6+ years of experience as a paralegal in personal injury law, with demonstrated experience supporting cases through pre-litigation, litigation, and trial preparation.
* Strong knowledge of personal injury procedures, case timelines, legal document preparation, court filings, discovery, settlement demands, and deadline management.
* Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities independently in a fast-paced legal environment.
