Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and quality of life.
• Assess patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment goals, strategies, and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

✅ Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) accredited school with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy.

✅ Current registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

✅ Active Occupational Therapy License/Certification in the State of Colorado.

✅ Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association guidelines).

✅ Successful completion of student clinical rotations or work experience in at least one of the following settings:

• Acute Care Hospital
• Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) Facility
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
• Acute Rehabilitation Setting
