This is a temporary MN-based Payroll & Benefits Specialist opportunity starting ASAP, focused on payroll processing with additional benefits support.
Key Responsibilities:
This temporary role will primarily support payroll processing, with additional benefits administration coverage during a medical leave. The Payroll & Benefits Specialist will serve as the main point of contact for payroll, benefits, and basic leave-related questions in a fast-growing, high-hiring environment.
Payroll
Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time
Add new hires and manage employee changes in Paycom
Ensure payroll data, deductions, and compensation details are correct
Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related employee questions
Benefits Administration
Initiate benefits for new hires and support ongoing benefits administration
Monitor and validate benefit deductions in payroll and benefits systems
Answer employee benefits questions and coordinate with third-party benefits partners
Work within Lattice (HRIS) to support employee data management
Leave of Absence Support
Provide employee support and guidance for LOA requests
Coordinate follow-ups with third-party leave administrators (approvals handled externally)
Help ensure leave-related data is tracked and communicated accurately
