Welcome to the Family! The Family Health Centers is the largest physician-owned family medicine practice in Western North Carolina, proudly serving patients in Asheville, Arden and Hominy Valley. We offer a range of services including lab, X-Ray, bone density, etc.
We have an opening on our in-office Patient Care Team- Triage!
Patient Care Team duties include:
- Providing telephone support and information to patients by responding to medical questions
- Presenting information to the physicians and relaying their instructions back to the patient
- Responsible for care coordination, patient phone queue management, and effective communication.
Patient Care Team Requirements:
- Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care and or telephone nursing
- Experience with an EMR (Athena) preferred.
- This is an in-office position. Must be able to travel to and work onsite at our downtown Asheville office
