Patient Care Team - Triage

Welcome to the Family! The Family Health Centers is the largest physician-owned family medicine practice in Western North Carolina, proudly serving patients in Asheville, Arden and Hominy Valley. We offer a range of services including lab, X-Ray, bone density, etc.

We have an opening on our in-office Patient Care Team- Triage!

Patient Care Team duties include:

• Providing telephone support and information to patients by responding to medical questions
• Presenting information to the physicians and relaying their instructions back to the patient
• Responsible for care coordination, patient phone queue management, and effective communication.

Patient Care Team Requirements:

• Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, or Licensed Practical Nurse
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care and or telephone nursing
• Experience with an EMR (Athena) preferred.
• This is an in-office position. Must be able to travel to and work onsite at our downtown Asheville office
