Schlesinger’s Steakhouse is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Pantry Cook to join our culinary team!

What You’ll Do
- Prepare salads, cold appetizers, desserts, sauces, dressings, and other pantry items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Complete daily food preparation and ensure ingredients are properly portioned and ready for service
- Maintain consistent quality, freshness, and presentation on every plate
- Work efficiently during busy services while keeping orders accurate and timely
- Keep the pantry and surrounding work areas clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Properly label, date, rotate, and store food products
- Communicate effectively with the culinary team to keep service moving smoothly
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
- Assist other kitchen team members when needed
- Take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional work environment
What We’re Looking For
- Dependable and reliable attendance is essential
- Previous pantry, prep cook, line cook, or restaurant kitchen experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and pride in food quality
- Ability to follow recipes, preparation standards, and instructions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
