Restaurant Manager
Boutique Luxury Hotel · Guest Relationships & Team Development
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports To: F&B; Director / General Manager
Location: La Colombe d'Or Hotel
Status: Full-time
The Role
We’re looking for a warm, capable Restaurant Manager who loves making people feel genuinely welcome.
In our boutique luxury hotel, you’ll lead the restaurant and bar with heart and precision — building lasting
relationships with guests, supporting a strong beverage program, and helping your team grow. This is
hospitality leadership that feels personal, attentive, and quietly excellent.
What You’ll Do
• Lead day-to-day restaurant and bar operations, creating smooth, thoughtful service and consistently
elevated guest experiences.
• Build and nurture genuine, long-term relationships with regular and esteemed guests — remembering
preferences, anticipating needs, and making people feel known.
• Support and help evolve the beverage program, including wine, with a focus on approachable
knowledge and confident service rather than technical intensity.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop your team. Create a culture of care, skill-building, and pride in
hospitality.
• Handle scheduling, inventory, purchasing, and day-to-day operational standards while protecting both
guest experience and the bottom line.
• Partner with culinary and bar teams on menus, special occasions, VIP touches, and seasonal offerings.
• Maintain brand standards, compliance (including TABC), and the warm, refined atmosphere of a
boutique luxury hotel.
• Use guest feedback and personal attention to keep improving how we take care of people.
Who You Are
• 2–3+ years of restaurant or hotel F&B; management (or strong supervisory) experience, preferably in
upscale or boutique settings.
• Comfortable with wine and beverage service — enough knowledge and confidence to guide guests and
support the team, without needing to be a specialist.
• A natural at building real relationships with guests who return and feel valued over time.
• Experience training, coaching, and developing team members — you enjoy helping people get better.
• Solid operational habits: scheduling, inventory awareness, and keeping service standards high.
• Warm, polished communication style and the ability to stay calm and kind under pressure.
• Valid TABC certification (or ability to obtain it quickly). Experience with OpenTable, POS systems, or
VIP guest programs is a plus.
Benefits & Growth
We believe in investing in people who invest in hospitality. Benefits include:
• Court of Master Sommeliers scholarship support: the hotel covers exam fees, study materials, and
related costs for Introductory, Certified, and Advanced Sommelier levels for team members pursuing
formal wine education (subject to performance and commitment agreement).
• Competitive compensation and a collaborative boutique environment.
• Opportunities to grow with the team and shape the guest experience.
• A workplace that values both excellence and genuine warmth.
Why This Role
You’ll get to lead with both heart and standards in an intimate setting where guests become regulars and
team members feel supported. If you enjoy making people feel looked after — both at the table and on your
staff — we’d love to talk.
To Apply: Send your résumé and a short note about a guest relationship you’ve built or a team member
you’ve helped grow.
