Advertising Summary: The Operations Coordinator serves as a member of the University Student Commons team and reports to the Assistant Director for Operations and Facilities. The position supervises the operations of the Student Commons to ensure customer satisfaction and safety, and contributes to the accomplishment of organizational goals. Under general supervision, the coordinator ensures day-to-day functions and performs daily inspections to determine whether facilities are operating in accordance with department standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:
The Operations Coordinator serves as a member of the University Student Commons team and reports to the Assistant Director for Operations and Facilities. The position supervises the operations of the Student Commons to ensure customer satisfaction and safety, and contributes to the accomplishment of organizational goals. Under general supervision, the coordinator ensures day-to-day functions and performs daily inspections to determine whether facilities are operating in accordance with department standards. The coordinator assists with set up and breakdown of event spaces and troubleshoots technology systems, such as computers, laptops, and sound devices. This position supervises approximately 20 student employees to include hiring, training, supervising, and development. This role will work in partnership with campus partners and service providers to facilitate solution-oriented engagement and facilities.

Salary Range: $47,000
