Position Title: Operations Analyst

Schedule: Rotating Shift Work / 6-week schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed (copy of schedule attached)

Address: Norfolk, VA 23509

Position Status: 12 month contract w/ multiple extensions

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Overview: Our client is looking for an Operations Analyst for an onsite position located in Norfolk, VA.

  • Gathers and analyzes customer calls and various computer data to determine location and cause of power outages.
  • Efficiently dispatches first response personnel and repair crews to provide quick and logical response to outages and emergency situations.
  • Performs callouts in ARCOS for service restoration, emergencies, planned overtime, and fill-shifts.

Requirements:

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks from start to finish, prioritizing and handling constantly changing priority levels
  • Ability to work under pressure and make well thought out decisions
  • Ability to analyze large subsets of data from multiple information sources and determine and create appropriate action plans
  • Strong Customer service skills with prior experience in a long-term hands-on operations analyst role supporting internal and external clients
  • Prior dispatch skills (911 operations centers, utilities operations centers, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
  • Nice to have hands on dispatch/operations center experience.
  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED
