Currently, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or STEM OPT extensions.Core Responsibilities:This position directly manages operations in The Division of Support Enforcement's (DSER) Case Initiation & Case Review units impacting operations throughout the State. DSER's duty within the Department of Health & Human Services is to administer and coordinate the delivery of Child Support services statewide: locating absent parents, establishing paternity; establishing child support orders and enforcing child support obligations. This position manages central office functions, ensuring cases are created within governed timelines and the highest level of customer service is provided to the clientele served. This position manages subordinate personnel and programs in accordance with the program and division's mission, federal and state laws, and department policy.
Minimum Qualifications:Competency in applying a proficient knowledge of office operational processes to perform advanced work in coordinating and performing multiple distinct office support functions for a large satellite office or operational unit, or multiple small units. All positions in this classification assume the qualifications of: Office Assistant I, Office Assistant II, Office Associate I, Office Associate II and Office Specialist I.

Responsibilities include establishing paternity, locating non-custodial parents, establishing and enforcing child support orders and representing the Department's interest in the Maine District Court in matters pertaining to child support
