    Description

    Syndeo Staffing is seeking an experienced Office Manager for a local Wichita employer. The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing daily office operations, managing accounting functions, supporting HR and benefits administration, and ensuring efficient business processes across the organization.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee daily office operations and administrative functions.
    • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
    • Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting processes.
    • Process sales tax, use tax, 1099 reporting, and year-end accounting activities.
    • Maintain employee records and assist with benefits administration, including health insurance and 401(k) programs.
    • Coordinate onboarding and training of new employees.
    • Generate and review financial, inventory, sales, and operational reports.
    • Maintain vendor and insurance compliance documentation.
    • Assist with annual audits and financial reviews.
    • Monitor office procedures and recommend process improvements.
    • Provide administrative support to management and staff as needed.
    • Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
    • 3+ years of office management, accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and payroll processing.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
    • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screening
    • Must have a valid drivers license and insurable driving record.

    Schedule: 7:30-430 Mon-Fri

    Type: Full-time / Direct Hire / In-office position
