Job Summary:
  • The Contingent Change Management Engineer serves as Administrative Support to the Change Management Engineer (CME) as the CME is the air traffic controller of all changes coming into the Manufacturing/Production world, assuring that everything is complete, concise and parts are here to seamlessly incorporate the change into Operations. It is a cross functional position with knowledge of the transition of an Engineered Design into Manufacturing Documentation and Processes.
  • 3+ years' experience in change management for manufactured product .
Duties and Responsibilities: The main responsibility for the person in this role is to support the Change Management Engineer in their day-to-day activities. Those activities involve the following, mainly:
  • Creating change notice tasks.
  • Updating and maintaining the controlled copy log.
  • Executing manufacturing bill of material updates.
  • Costing requests.
  • Metrics reporting for change management (example: OCO (Operations Change Order) status (weekly, monthly, yearly).
  • The creation and management of written change management procedures and other supporting tasks for the Change Management Engineer .
Minimum Qualifications
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and an effective communicator.
  • Experience with SAP-MBP, Windchill, familiarity with Bill of materials, Planning, and Change Management in an Operations/Factory environment is required.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing document requirements.
  • Clearly communicate problems to appropriate personnel/departments/functions and aid in the resolution of the issue.
  • Broad understanding of business systems, organizational culture, and behaviors.
  • Treat unexpected circumstances as opportunities to learn and adopt new techniques.
  • Respond effectively to unpredictable or unexpected events.
