Shift: 5:30 PM - 6:00 AM
Experience:
• 3 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience.
• Travel experience is required.
• 3 months of Epic experience is required with any experience within the last 12 months.
• ADN completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: For any RN role: if a candidate has NP licensure, ThedaCare will only consider them for an NP role, not a lower position.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with pre/post cath, post-pacemaker care, and TR bands strongly preferred.
Required Credentials: Associate degree or certificate.
Special Requests: An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager. Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence.
Unit Details: Primary cases across facilities include medical/surgical, general surgical, oncology, renal, CIWA, CHF, COPD, stroke, surgical trauma and orthopedics, DKA, and rare pediatric patients. TCN 5th floor cardiac cases include pre/post care, heart catheterization, and pacemakers; TCN Neuro cases include stroke, post-TNK, and neurosurgery. Patient assignments are limited to the traveler’s skillset. RNs are paired with LPN/CNA support staff based on acuity.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation is up to every other weekend; candidates available every weekend may also be considered. Holiday rotation as needed. No call.
Floating Requirements: Will float throughout all Med/Surg units at ThedaCare Appleton and ThedaCare Neenah; may float to all ThedaCare facilities as needed, primarily ThedaCare Neenah and ThedaCare Appleton, and must be open to smaller locations as needed. Location assignments will be provided in 2-week increments. The assignment location may change up to 2 hours in advance due to staffing needs.

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years
1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months

Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
