Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) – Wisconsin Travel Nursing Contract

- Healthcare Setting: On-site Interventional Radiology lab
- Shift Duration: 8-hour evening shifts
- Schedule: Rotating schedule with one week of Monday-to-Monday call coverage from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., followed by a week with two 8-hour shifts; 40 hours are guaranteed during the scheduled work week
- Call Expectations: Call hours are paid whether or not you are called in; average call workload is approximately 25–30 hours
Interventional Radiology RN Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or a compact state license
- At least 1 year of professional nursing experience, including experience in neuro Interventional Radiology or stroke care
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Current National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Ability to work evening shifts, rotating schedules, and on-call coverage
- Must reside outside the applicable 50-mile local-traveler radius
Travel RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients receiving Interventional Radiology procedures
- Support neurointerventional radiology and stroke-related interventions throughout the procedural experience
- Complete patient assessments, procedure preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure recovery care
- Monitor vital signs, neurological status, sedation response, and potential complications
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary procedural team to promote excellent patient outcomes
- Respond promptly to urgent patient needs during scheduled shifts and call coverage
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established patient safety and infection-control standards
