Assist physicians in providing high-quality patient care, while exhibiting strong customer service skills to all patients and the overall practice. RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for:

• Answering phones
• Scheduling appointments
• Checking patients in and out from their appointment
• Coordinating specialist appointments for patients
• Collecting patient balances, copays, and credit cards at time of service
• Reviewing lists of patients who need appointments and calling to schedule when due
• Verifying demographics and insurance carrier information for every patient
• Assisting patients with Kiosk sign in
• Complying with OSHA and DOH standards
• Scheduling, coordinating, and tracking STAT patient referrals and pre-authorizations
• Adhering to Brown Health Medical Group Primary Care guidelines for protecting patients' demographic, clinical, and financial information
• Providing superior customer service and outstanding patient care
• Attending meetings/workshops as they relate to current position and office workflows
• Performing other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Pay Range: $18.13-$29.90

Location: Brown Health Medical Group Primary Care- 593 Eddy St- Executive Suite Providence, Rhode Island 02903

Work Type: 8am-5pm

Work Shift: Day

Daily Hours: 8 hours

Driving Required: No
