A national plaintiffs' law firm that focuses exclusively on representing victims of mesothelioma is hiring for a MEDICAL LEGAL ASSISTANT to work on a DIRECT HIRE basis, full-time. With offices across the country and rapidly growing teams, we are dedicated to maximizing the recovery of our deserving clients.

Our DOWNTOWN St. Louis, Missouri, office is seeking to hire a Legal Assistant to support our Medical team. We are looking for energetic, driven, detail-oriented people for this full-time, on-site position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·Prepare correspondence and HIPAA-compliant authorizations to healthcare providers for the purpose of obtaining protected healthcare information;

·Communication with healthcare providers;

·Processing of incoming protected healthcare information such as medical records and itemized billing statements, which includes scanning, saving, and reviewing for relevant information;

·Completion of assignments on a deadline.

Qualifications:
