Job Summary
Busy allergy & asthma office in Frisco, Texas is seeking a qualified full-time Medical Assistant (MA/CMA) to join our team! The successful candidate will enthusiastically and efficiently assist our physicians/physician assistant to provide exceptional patient care.
 
Responsibilities 

• Room patients, review history and ready them for examination
• Perform procedures (diagnostic and therapeutic) based on orders received from physician or physician assistant
• Injections (IM, SubQ, & ID)
• Skin testing
• Spirometry/Exhaled Nitric Oxide
• Phone triage for patient care concerns
• Communicate with internal and external clients
• Assist with patient education 

 Qualifications

• Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant or comparable designation or experience; we are willing to train the right candidate!
• Pleasant and professional phone and interpersonal skills
• Upbeat attitude, adept at communicating with and making both pediatric and adult patients feel comfortable
• Ability to multi-task procedures and patient care needs
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds without assistance (for storing office supplies and assisting patients)
• Experience in allergy, asthma, biologics a plus!
