Mon to Fri, 8 - 5p | 40hrs/wk

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  1. Certified Medical Assistant with 1 year of Ortho trauma experience.
  2. Bilingual - English/Spanish fluent.
  3. Ability to perform clinical tasks accurately and professionally.
  4. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  5. Teamwork, communication, & patient service across diverse populations.
  6. Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - certification, or able to obtain after starting.
  7. LMRT / X-ray HIGHLY PREFERRED

Orthopedics: 6 months to 1 year (Required)
Certified Medical Assistant: 1 year (Required)

Active CMA Certification (Required)

Bilingual - Spanish/English Fluent (Required)

LMRT (Preferred)

Job Responsibilities

Prepare patients with Sports Trauma, spine, cervical, ortho podiatry issues for exam and treatment, explain procedures, support physicians during exams.

Translate for Spanish & English speaking patients.

Prepares charts. 

Prepare exam/treatment rooms, sterilization, trays, supplies & equipment.
Address questions, appointments, and communication between patients and providers.
Cast, splint, wound care, fracture care, and suture removal. (Cast Tech preferred)
Perform intake procedures, collect medical histories and maintain accurate documentation in EMR - Centricity.
Assist with clinical procedures, including medication administration, wound care, and X-rays as needed.

Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant with 1 year of Ortho trauma experience.
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish fluent.
  • Ability to perform clinical tasks accurately and professionally.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Teamwork, communication, & patient service across diverse populations.
  • Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - certification, or able to obtain after starting.
