Job Description

Design and develop custom automation equipment, machine components, and manufacturing systems.

Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.

Participate in new product development, machine improvement, and engineering change projects.

Collaborate with manufacturing and assembly teams to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and cost-effective.

Support projects from concept, prototyping, testing, and validation through final production.

Troubleshoot design challenges and develop practical engineering solutions.

Reverse engineer existing components and systems when required.

Develop testing approaches and design criteria to validate product performance.

Work closely with customers, project managers, and internal teams to meet technical and delivery requirements.

Assist with technical proposals, quotations, and engineering support for new business opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.

3-7 years of engineering design experience within manufacturing, automation, machinery, or industrial equipment environments.

Strong proficiency with SolidWorks or comparable CAD software.

Experience designing custom machinery, automation cells, robotics integration, or production equipment is highly preferred.

Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and priorities.

Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
