Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Materials Management and Logistics Specialist for a Contract with a client in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will support efficient warehouse and logistics operations by managing material receiving, inventory control, and distribution activities.

Rate Range: $26/Hour to $28/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Materials Management and Logistics Specialist Responsibilities include:

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials, ensuring accuracy between purchase orders and deliveries.

• Manage inventory by issuing, tracking, returning, and restocking materials while maintaining accurate records.

• Prepare and coordinate shipments, ensuring all required documentation and inventory logs are completed.

• Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and cranes, in a safe and efficient manner.

• Transport materials between warehouses and work sites while adhering to company safety standards and regulations.

• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials in compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• 0-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, or a related field.

• Proficiency with inventory management systems and basic Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.

• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment and work in a warehouse environment.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
