Position Description

Marketing Specialist

Position Overview:

CORE Construction is hiring a full-time Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing Team in our Fort Lauderdale, FL office. This experienced role is ideal for creative and driven individuals with 2+ years' experience in marketing, preferably in the A/E/C industry. The Marketing Specialist will contribute to a team dedicated to exceeding client expectations and finding innovative ways to enhance services. This position focuses on creating proposals, presentations, marketing collateral, graphics, communications, content, and supporting events. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, collaborative, detail-oriented, and excels at managing multiple priorities under pressure. Strong writing and editing skills are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Proposal and Presentation Development:

  • Design and produce professional-quality proposals (using Adobe InDesign) and presentations (using PowerPoint) tailored to specific clients and projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather content and ensure materials align with brand standards.
  • Support the pursuit process by developing compelling and visually engaging marketing materials.

Event and Conference Coordination:

  • Support company participation in events, conferences, trade shows and networking opportunities as needed.

Marketing Collateral and Graphics:

  • Develop engaging marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and promotional items.
  • Create visually compelling graphics using Adobe Creative Suite, maintaining consistent brand identity.

Communication & Content Creation:

  • Draft, edit and proofread written content for marketing campaigns proposals, presentations and collateral.
  • Manage and create content for various platforms and purposes, enhancing the company's online presence and marketing initiatives.

Administrative and Team Support:

  • Maintain organized project files and track deadlines for multiple assignments.
  • Participate in team meetings, offering creative input and solutions for marketing initiatives.

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

Education:

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or a related field required.

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Marketing experience, preferable in a related industry.
  • Experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is highly preferred.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when needed

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work in office 5 days per week in Fort Lauderdale
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Comfortable working in a deadline driven environment.
  • Portfolio submission required.
