Position Department: Bayer Center for Nonprofit Management and Covestro Center for Community Engagement

Overview:

The Bayer Center for Nonprofit Management and Covestro Center for Community Engagement are looking for a student worker that will help with marketing and program management with both centers. Responsibilities include creating and managing content for LinkedIn, assisting with website updates and maintenance, and designing email communications. The student will also help produce print materials such as flyers and signage, as well as supporting program development. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing, communications, and programming while making a meaningful impact on our community.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Management: Plan, create, and schedule engaging visual content and videos for LinkedIn to promote training and center usage. Digital & Print Design: Use Canva to design eye-catching materials for emails, newsletters, and website content along with print items for workshops and other events. Event Support: Help prepare for and assist with our center's events, including setup, logistics, and on-site support during events, workshops, and other scheduled activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Interest in marketing, communications, nonprofits, social impact Familiarity with LinkedIn Experience with Canva (or similar design tools) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Creative mindset and strong attention to detail Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Currently enrolled RMU student (first-year, sophomore, junior, or senior)

Wage: 10

Wage Frequency: Hourly
