Senior Art Director
About the Role Our Fortune 100 client is seeking a seasoned, hands-on Senior Art Director to drive design excellence and conceptual innovation. In this role, you will lead high-impact creative work independently, support the Creative Director on large strategic initiatives, and act as an Associate Creative Director (ACD) reviewer for external agency work. As a passionate designer at heart, you bring a relentless drive to challenge the status quo, refine good ideas into exceptional creative, and serve as a vocal champion of our evolving brand design system.
Key Responsibilities
360 Multichannel Execution: Lead visual design across digital, social, email, direct mail, landing pages, and print touchpoints.
Technical & Motion Excellence: Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere) and Figma to create polished work. Motion graphics and video editing capabilities are strongly desired.
Brand & System Ownership: Master our brand design system, ensuring every deliverable aligns with our distinct brand language and visual standards.
Conceptual Strategy: Develop and pitch compelling visual concepts that solve complex business challenges and align with overarching campaign objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner seamlessly with copywriters, project managers, and external agency partners to build integrated, end-to-end campaigns.
Quality Assurance & Detail: Maintain high quality control, overseeing precise file preparation, layout precision, and strict adherence to creative specs.
Creative Advocacy: Communicate visual rationale with clarity and conviction, offering constructive feedback and defending design decisions to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Google Workspace.
Robust portfolio demonstrating advanced conceptual thinking, art direction, and design execution across multiple channels.
Preferred:
Prior advertising agency experience.
Practical understanding of motion design and animation.
Familiarity with user testing best practices and digital UX/UI principles.
