    Position Specific Description

    At NextEra Energy, we are adding a new Manager Regulatory Affairs to support our growing retail electricity and natural gas businesses. Regulatory is a key partner in growing the mass market and C&I customer businesses. In this role you will review and analyze direct and digital marketing campaigns, with strong working knowledge of applicate regulatory rules for customer enrollments, marketing, and other related customer protection rules in competitive electric and gas markets. Advise and counsel on new products and product structures and compliance with changing regulatory rules and varying political environments. Collaborate closely with internal legal team to integrate legal and regulatory compliance and deal structuring. Work with broad based client groups and serve as the day-to-day regulatory lead for retail electricity and electricity projects. Identify and communicate significant risks succinctly to senior management. Stay abreast of changing market rules and inform impacted internal business clients accordingly. Lead through industry trade associations to advocate for positions to support NextEra's business interests. Provide regulatory guidance on a variety of key growth initiatives including M&A efforts.     Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
    • Experience: 7+ years
