Litigation Paralegal (Personal Injury)
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)
Compensation: $30-$45+/hour DOE
About the Opportunity
Our client, a respected plaintiff-side personal injury law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of litigation. This role is ideal for a highly organized legal professional with strong drafting, discovery, case management, and trial preparation experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, file, and manage pleadings and court documents.
- Prepare, serve, and respond to discovery requests.
- Communicate with clients, attorneys, experts, and witnesses regarding case progress and deadlines.
- Coordinate depositions, hearings, medical examinations, and other litigation activities.
- Organize and maintain case files, evidence, and litigation records.
- Assist with expert designations, subpoenas, and trial preparation.
- Provide litigation and trial support, including exhibit management and courtroom assistance.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience; personal injury experience preferred.
- Paralegal certificate or Bachelor's degree.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures.
- Proficiency with legal research platforms and case management software.
- Excellent writing, communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
