This role requires an individual who can manage high-stress situations, handle a heavy caseload, and maintain a high level of professionalism.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive litigation support to a team of attorneys, including preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, and organizing and maintaining case files.
  • Utilize legal case management software to manage and track case progress.
  • Ensure legal compliance in all activities, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to personal injury cases.
  • Draft and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct detailed client and witness interviews, and prepare detailed notes and reports on these interviews.
  • Assist in the preparation for depositions, mediations, and trials.
  • Coordinate and manage E-Discovery processes.
  • Utilize iManage for document and email management.
  • Provide bilingual Spanish support in client communications and document translation.
  • Perform other duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with at least 2 years focused on plaintiff personal injury litigation.
  • Proficiency in Legal Case Management Software, iManage, and E-Discovery tools.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to translate legal documents and communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking clients.
  • Strong understanding of legal compliance and regulations related to personal injury cases.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  • Paralegal certification or equivalent qualification is preferred.
