    Job Title: Litigation Paralegal

    Location: Dallas TX 75201

    Salary/Payrate: $85K-$95K annually bonus and AWESOME benefits!!!

    Work Environment:  Hybrid (1 day WFH after initial 90 day ramp up period)

    Term: Permanent / Fulltime

    Bachelor’s degree required:  No

    Referral Fee:AMS will pay $500 should the person you refer gets hired

     

    JOB DESCRIPTION

     

    Our client is seeking a highly experienced Litigation Paralegal to support our trial attorneys in managing a high-volume litigation docket. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess extensive knowledge of state and federal court procedures. This position requires a strong grasp of discovery protocols under the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure (TRCP), excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines in a high-pressure environment.


     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Draft and format shell discovery responses, correspondence, and pleading shells
    • Prepare hearing and trial notebooks
    • Manage and maintain calendaring of court deadlines, hearings, and discovery obligations
    • E-file documents in state and federal courts using E-File Texas and PACER/ECF
    • Conduct cite checking and Bluebooking (preferred)
    • Assist with trial preparation and provide hot seat trial support (highly preferred)
    • Coordinate with attorneys and vendors regarding e-discovery and trial exhibits
    • Perform internet and legal research using Westlaw and other platforms

     


    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of six (6) years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm setting
    • In-depth understanding of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure (TRCP) and relevant federal rules
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Westlaw, PACER/ECF, and E-File Texas
    • Familiarity with Trial Director and e-discovery platforms (preferred but not required)
    • Strong internet research and analytical skills
    • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
    • Willingness to work overtime as needed, including occasional evenings or weekends during trial prep

     


    Preferred Skills:

    • Cite checking and Bluebooking
    • Hot seat trial experience
    • Experience with high-volume caseload management
