We are partnering with a respected law firm to hire an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant/Practice Assistant to provide high-level support to a busy Insurance Defense litigation team in a fast-paced environment.
SALARY: $65k-$90k/yr. DOE
LOCATION: Portland, OR | Hybrid available after onboarding
SCHEDULE: Full-time; Monday-Friday | 8:30am-5:00pm (30 min lunch)
8:00am-5:00pm (1hr lunch)

WHAT YOULL DO
Provide comprehensive litigation support to multiple Insurance Defense attorneys, including case management, document preparation, and coordination of legal matters.
Draft, revise, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and other litigation-related materials.
Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, case files, and litigation documentation while ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedural requirements.
Coordinate electronic filings in Oregon and Washington courts and maintain professional communication with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
5+ years of experience supporting multiple attorneys within a busy Insurance Defense practice.
Strong knowledge of Oregon and Washington state and federal court rules, procedures, and electronic filing requirements.
Advanced organizational and time-management skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires the ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods while performing frequent keyboarding, document review, and data entry tasks. The role also requires the ability to occasionally lift and carry files or office materials up to 15 pounds and move throughout the office as needed to support attorneys, clients, and court-related activities.
