    Position Overview:
    The Litigation Legal Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the firm’s litigation team in complex cases across a variety of practice areas. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide comprehensive administrative support to litigation attorneys, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and organizing case materials.
    • Assist with the preparation, filing, and service of pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
    • Conduct legal research and gather documents for case preparation.
    • Maintain case files and manage case deadlines using legal software and docketing systems.
    • Coordinate the logistics of depositions, hearings, and trials, including preparing exhibits and witness materials.
    • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other parties involved in the case.
    • Perform other administrative duties, including billing support, document formatting, and maintaining internal databases.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in litigation.
    • Strong knowledge of court rules and procedures in both state and federal courts.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software (e.g., e-filing platforms, case management systems).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
