This is an opportunity to develop as a trial lawyer and learn every aspect of the litigation practice. The attorney will be involved in all aspects of the work from day one, including case selection, case valuation, client development, and litigation.
The attorney will handle all phases of litigation, including depositions, motion practice, settlement negotiations, mediation, court hearings, and trial. You will work closely with senior attorneys on an active docket of class and collective action cases.
This position offers immediate responsibility, mentorship, and significant opportunity for professional growth.
Civil litigation experience is required. Prior wage-and-hour or class action experience is not required.
2+ years of litigation experience in state and federal courts
Experience taking depositions and appearing in court
Experience preparing and reviewing court filings and discovery
Experience negotiating with opposing counsel and attending mediation
Willingness to work directly with clients
Ability to effectively manage a caseload
Proficiency with case management software, technology, and AI tools
Active Texas law license in good standing
JD from an ABA-accredited law school
