Job DetailsJob Duties:
- Evaluate potential claims and assist with case assessments.
- Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Draft, propound, and respond to written discovery.
- Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related filings.
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategy.
- Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and corporate representatives.
- Prepare matters for mediation, settlement discussions, and trial when necessary.
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding case strategy and status updates.
- Collaborate closely with attorneys and litigation support staff to develop effective case strategies.
- Maintain organized case files while meeting litigation deadlines and delivering high-quality work product.
Job Requirements:
- Active Arizona Bar license in good standing is required.
- 3+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably within plaintiff labor and employment.
- Strong experience with discovery, motion practice, and depositions.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Comfortable managing cases with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Experience with Clio and Microsoft OneDrive is preferred.
- Detail-oriented, conscientious, and committed to producing high-quality legal work.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach and a willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative practice.
