Our client, a growing Houston area law firm seeks an experienced Transactions Specialist or Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary to support their Real Estate Development & Investment Practice Group.
Responsibilities will include creating files; sorting, organizing and filing documents; preparing organized packages of loan documents and closing binders; and performing post-closing follow-up.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years of law firm experience
- Prior real estate transactional experience required
- Commercial real estate experience preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, including styles and redlining, as well as Adobe Acrobat
- Strong command of Microsoft Outlook
- Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple detailed tasks
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork mentality, and a high degree of professionalism and dedication
