About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Residential Electrician with 3+ years of hands-on service experience to serve home and business owners across Guilford County and surrounding areas. In this role, your primary mission is to protect homes and give families peace of mind by delivering expert diagnostic, installation, and repair services. Rather than acting as a pushy salesperson, you will serve as a trusted educator—walking homeowners through their panels, using visual aids to explain safety concerns (like burnt outlets), and providing customized solutions. You will be the face of Mr. Electric, combining technical mastery with authentic, reliable customer connections.

Core Responsibilities
Perform residential electrical services ranging from panel upgrades, rewiring, and fixture installations to EV charging stations and complex troubleshooting.
Conduct home safety evaluations, utilizing visual aids to educate homeowners on potential safety hazards and corrective solutions.
Deliver clean, high-quality workmanship that meets safety codes and resolves electrical issues right the first time.
Provide upfront, transparent recommendations to build lasting customer trust without high-pressure sales tactics.
Manage job dispatching, customer communication, and invoicing via iPad software.
Maintain clean, organized take-home company vehicles and enforce strict safety standards on every job site.
Required & Preferred Experience
Residential Experience: Minimum 3+ years of professional-level residential electrical service experience.
Licensing (A Plus): Active North Carolina Electrical License (Journeyman, Residential Wireman, Master, or Unlimited) is a strong plus, though highly skilled technicians with proven experience are encouraged to apply.
Commercial Exposure: Commercial electrical experience is a plus (an 80% residential / 20% commercial mix is ideal).
Driver's License: Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record.
Tech Proficiency: Comfortable using iPads/tablets and modern field service applications. Service Titan experience a plus.
