    Frothy Monkey is hiring an AM Kitchen Line Lead for our Nations location in West Nashville! This is a full time position with benefits. We are looking for a skilled back of house leader with experience managing high volume kitchens with 3 meal-parts, with an emphasis on breakfast and lunch. We use fresh, quality ingredients to prepare original food and drink, served in a cozy and approachable atmosphere. We focus on an exceptional breakfast through dinner experience for our guests- 7 days a week, 363 days a year. Supporting our catering business is also a part of this position.

    Job Description

    • Leadership

      • Must be able to work all stations
      • Must be able to train on how to work all stations
    • Execution
      • Must be able to completely set up the line
      • Identify prep needs to avoid 86ing items
      • Oversee presentation to ensure consistency
      • Make respectful corrections on cooking and plating
      • Display a sense of urgency and coach on urgency
      • Communicate needs with FOH staff (i.e. ticket times, 86 items, etc)
      • Conduct line checks to ensure proper prep
      • Know how to place orders according to pars and COGS budgeting
    • Food safety
      • Be Servsafe Certified or willing to become certified
      • Fill out taste and temp logs on every scheduled shift
      • Fill out time and temp logs for cooling food
      • Monitor dishwashers to ensure proper cleaning and testing procedures
      • FIFO
      • Proper thawing and cooking temps
      • Proper handwashing
    • Cleaning/stocking
      • Monitor and bring to management’s attention any outstanding issues
      • Cleaning all stainless in the kitchen
      • No buildup of dust
      • Make sure that cooks are cleaning and restocking as necessary and for following shifts
      • Monitor for proper opening and closing procedures
      • All equipment is being completely cleaned inside and out on a regular basis
      • All deep cleaning procedures being followed
      • Floors are properly cleaned and swept regularly
