Position Title Lead Allied Health Instructor Announcement Summary

Fayetteville Technical Community College is seeking qualified applicants for this position. The Lead Instructor will provide quality instruction to students; to maintain awareness of the role of Continuing Education in the overall College mission; to understand services available to students; to develop business and industry linkages; and to participate in in-service development opportunities.

Duties

Essential Duties-Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Teach classroom, laboratory, hybrid, and online courses as assigned.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and coordination of the Phlebotomy and RMA programs, and other Health Programs.
• Assist with strategic planning, enrollment growth, retention initiatives, and program improvement.
• Monitor key performance indicators including enrollment, retention, completion, certification pass rates, and employment outcomes.
• Coordinate course assignments and instructional schedules.
• Mentor, train, and support adjunct and full-time instructors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clinical affiliates, healthcare employers, and community partners.
• Coordinate clinical placements for PBT and RMA
• Coordinate advisory committee meetings and employer engagement activities.
• Collaborate with the Dean on new program development and workforce initiatives.
• Provide quality customer service to students, faculty, and staff

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.

• Current certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Allied Health Instructor (AMT).

• Must have current Phlebotomy certification from one of the following organizations:

• ASPT

• AMT

• ASCP

• Must have 3 years' teaching and clinical experience in Phlebotomy or RMA.

Preferred Requirements

• Associate Degree or higher
