    The Design Build Landscape Operations Manager leads landscape construction projects from planning through completion. This role oversees schedules, budgets, crews, and jobsite operations while serving as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams. Ideal for a hands-on leader with strong construction knowledge and project management experience.

    Out-of-town travel may be required.

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Construction Management, or 5+ years related experience

    • 3–5 years landscape installation experience

    • Project management experience on large residential, commercial, or municipal projects

    • Strong knowledge of landscape construction and hardscaping

    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams

    • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills


    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan and manage landscape construction projects, schedules, and budgets

    • Coordinate with designers, foremen, crews, vendors, and subcontractors

    • Oversee jobsite operations including hardscapes, softscapes, and installations

    • Lead crews, manage schedules, and ensure safety and quality standards

    • Serve as primary client contact and provide project updates

    • Track labor, materials, overtime, and costs

    • Manage change orders and resolve jobsite challenges

    • Conduct site inspections and ensure regulatory compliance



    Pay & Benefits

    $32–$40/hour

    • Seasonal bonus

    • Health & dental insurance

    • Overtime pay (1.5x after 40 hours)

    • Minnesota Sick & Safe Time (1 hr per 30 hrs worked)

    • Employee referral bonus 

    Schedule

    • Monday–Friday

    • 40+ hours per week (seasonal)


    Licenses and Certifications:

    • Clean and Driver's License (Required)
    • MN DOT Medical Card (Required)
    • Certification in Landscape Management or Construction (e.g., CLM, CLT, or similar) preferred.
    • OSHA Safety Certification or similar preferred

    Compensation: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
