Job Details

Responsibilities

1. Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of land use and zoning law, including zoning analyses, land use planning, and regulatory compliance.
2. Represent clients in meetings, hearings, and negotiations with government officials, community groups, and other stakeholders.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate land use and zoning agreements, permits, and other legal documents.
4. Conduct legal research and analysis on complex land use and zoning issues, and prepare legal opinions, briefs, and other documents.
5. Develop and implement strategies to address clients' land use and zoning needs and objectives.
6. Monitor and analyze developments in land use and zoning law and regulations, and advise clients on potential impacts.
7. Collaborate with other team members and contribute to the overall success and growth of the legal practice.

Qualifications

1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Land Use & Zoning Attorney
4. Exceptional knowledge of land use and zoning law and regulations.
5. Proven ability to represent clients in complex land use and zoning matters.
6. Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
7. Strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with clients and other stakeholders.
8. A high degree of professionalism and ethical standards.
9. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
10. A commitment to client service and excellence in legal practice.
