Job Summary: 

This role is responsible for preparing and cooking food in the Cafe Diner while maintaining a clean, organized, and professional kitchen environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Supporting kitchen operations
• Following recipes, and preparing meals according to established food safety standards

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Prior experience in food service, cooking, or kitchen operations preferred 
• Strong customer service skills and comfort interacting with doctors, staff, and leadership 
• Ability to communicate professionally and confidently with customers 
• Experience working with special diets or dietary restrictions preferred 
• Kitchen leadership or team support experience a plus 
• Ability to follow recipes, portion control, and food safety standards 
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic 
• Ability to stand for long periods of time 
• Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed 
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (ServSafe preferred)
