    Job Description:

    The Junior Legal Counsel contributes the Legal Department by summarizing and analyzing the company's current contractual obligations and those proposed by current counterparties. This position is also responsible for identifying and managing risk.

    Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Support management in drafting legal documents by reviewing and commenting on counterparty drafts and providing first drafts of documents to the legal team

    • Assists in the creation of documentation for bids and offers to public authorities by summarizing company information and legal liabilities on provided forms

    • Researches and analyzes issues faced by Cintra due to the unique requirements of individual projects (including issues of planning process, procurement, and authority of state agencies, among others) and prepares legal memoranda for internal use

    • Participate in understanding possible future liabilities by summarizing and analyzing important issues in draft documents such as non-disclosure agreements, services/consulting contracts, and project documents

    • Organizes and manages rudimentary database of existing documents such as contracts and corporate resolutions for ease of reference and internal audit purposes.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Law degree from an accredited university

    • Experience with legal research software

    • Ability to draft legal agreements

    • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office

    • Superior writing and verbal communication skills

    • Experience analyzing liabilities described in contractual provisions preferred

    • Ethical, caring and with the ability to work in a collaborative environment
