This role will work closely with business relationship managers, business analysts, project managers, architects, developers, quality assurance teams, and other technology partners to analyze complex application environments, integrations, and system dependencies. About the Role
We are seeking a IT Solutions Analyst to serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements and solutions.

This role will work closely with business relationship managers, business analysts, project managers, architects, developers, quality assurance teams, and other technology partners to analyze complex application environments, integrations, and system dependencies.

The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis skills with technical depth and is comfortable performing system impact analysis across multiple applications and integrations. Experience with APIs, integration architecture, and enterprise platforms is highly valued.

Industry experience is helpful, but the most important qualities are strong technical analysis capabilities, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to quickly understand complex systems and interactions.
What You'll Do Business & Technical Analysis

• 
  Partner with business relationship managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into detailed technical requirements.
  
• 
  Analyze complex business processes, applications, integrations, and system dependencies to identify impacts and potential risks.
  
• 
  Work with architects, solution designers, developers, and QA teams to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.
  
• 
  Evaluate system interdependencies across multiple applications and technology domains.
  
• 
  Provide technical subject matter expertise and serve as a trusted resource for business and technology stakeholders.
  
• 
  Review technical and business documentation created by other analysts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with requirements.
  
• 
  Identify risks, issues, dependencies, and impacts and communicate them clearly to project and business stakeholders.
  

Requirements & Documentation

• 
  Translate business requirements into comprehensive technical requirements while maintaining clear traceability between business objectives and technical solutions.
  
• 
  Develop and maintain technical requirements, system specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and related documentation.
  
• 
  Partner with architects and solution designers to develop clear technical specifications.
  
• 
  Create and maintain system maps, integration diagrams, data-flow documentation, and other technical artifacts.
  
• 
  Document relevant database queries, data structures, table changes, interfaces, and system dependencies as needed.
  
• 
  Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to promote consistent and efficient processes.
  
• 
  Ensure technical documentation remains accurate, current, and accessible to appropriate stakeholders.
  

Project & Delivery Support

• 
  Partner with project managers to support project planning, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and delivery activities.
  
• 
  Help drive projects and initiatives toward successful completion within established timelines.
  
• 
  Identify and coordinate interdependencies across technology domains and project teams.
  
• 
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and remove delivery obstacles.
  
• 
  Provide regular updates regarding project status, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  

Testing & Training

• 
  Support business stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  
• 
  Help define test scenarios and validate that delivered functionality meets documented requirements.
  
• 
  Partner with QA and development teams to investigate and resolve defects or requirements-related issues.
  
• 
  Assist with the development and delivery of training materials and sessions for new or enhanced applications.
  

Data Analysis & Reporting

• 
  Extract, analyze, and interpret data to support business decisions and project outcomes.
  
• 
  Perform data and system analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, dependencies, and potential impacts.
  
• 
  Contribute to reports, dashboards, and project metrics used to monitor progress and performance.
  
• 
  Use data and technical analysis to support recommendations and solution decisions.
  

Key Skills & Experience

• 
  Strong experience in technical business analysis, systems analysis, or a closely related role.
  
• 
  Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical requirements.
  
• 
  Strong technical requirements analysis and documentation skills.
  
• 
  Experience performing system impact analysis across multiple applications and integrations.
  
• 
  Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  
• 
  Strong understanding of APIs, application integrations, and system-to-system interfaces.
  
• 
  Experience collaborating with architects, developers, QA teams, project managers, and business stakeholders.
  
• 
  Ability to understand and document complex data flows, system dependencies, and application interactions.

Preferred Experience

  Experience with enterprise policy administration or other complex enterprise platforms.

  Experience supporting application modernization, platform migration, or coexistence environments.

  Experience analyzing cross-platform integrations and dependencies.
  
• 
  Experience in the insurance industry or another highly regulated/complex business environment.
  
• 
  Familiarity with data modeling, relational databases, SQL, and database analysis.
  
• 
  Experience creating system maps, data-flow diagrams, and technical specifications.
