Genesis10 is currently seeking a Solution Architect - Remote for a direct hire opportunity with a Professional Services Firm.
Our client implements the Oracle Primavera portfolio for organizations that plan, build, and operate capital assets. We are looking for a Solution Architect to serve as the technical anchor across the full customer journey, from the first discovery workshop through to production go-live. You will partner with Sales and Business Development teams to understand customer needs, translate them into a credible Primavera solution architecture, and stay engaged as the solution moves through configuration, integration, testing, and deployment. This is a hybrid pre-sales and delivery-facing role requiring you to be equally effective explaining cost sheet design to a project controls manager and explaining integration patterns to an enterprise architect.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in discovery workshops to elicit business, functional, and technical requirements
- Map requirements to the right product in the Primavera portfolio
- Produce conceptual designs, solution architecture documents, integration diagrams, and data flow models
- Surface assumptions, dependencies, constraints, and risks early
- Build and revise effort estimates, resourcing models, and delivery timelines
- Own the technical content of RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and solution presentations
- Present and defend the proposed architecture to customer business and IT teams
- Act as a trusted advisor, challenging requirements when a standard capability will serve better than a custom build
- Remain the architectural authority during delivery, review designs, and resolve technical escalations
- Support data migration strategy, cutover planning, and post-go-live review
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Multiple years implementing enterprise software solutions for mid-market or large organizations, including experience in a solution architecture or technical pre-sales capacity
- Experience with multiple end-to-end implementations owned from discovery through to production go-live
- Consulting, professional services, or systems integration background
- Experience architecting solutions on a configurable enterprise platform
- Track record supporting deals: requirements workshops, effort estimation, proposal writing, and presenting to decision-makers
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn a new product family to architect-level depth
- Ability to sit with a customer's project controls manager, cost engineer, or scheduler and understand the problem they are describing without needing it translated
- Understand how a capital project organization actually operates
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and strong presentation skills
- Experience with end to end software implementations ideally with an ERP or CRM package at an enterprise level. Training will be available for the Oracle Primera product upon hire.
- Knowledge of integration patterns and real-world integrations to ERP and enterprise systems
- Understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure fundamentals, hybrid connectivity, and identity/access management
Desired skills:
- Hands-on solution design experience with an ERP or CRM software package.
- Experience architecting and implementing solutions on comparable platforms like Microsoft Project Server, Planview, Clarity PPM, Procore, or ERP project modules (Oracle, SAP, etc.) is preferred.
- Oracle certifications across Primavera, Oracle Integration Cloud, or OCI Architect is a plus
- Professional credentials in the project controls domain (PMP, PMI-SP, AACE CCP or PSP)
- Experience with Primavera Analytics, Oracle Analytics, or BI Publisher is a plus
- Agile and hybrid delivery experience with tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
Benefits:
- Medical and Dental coverage
- Unlimited PTO
- Position is 100% remote with up to 25% travel for client discovery in North America
