IT Business Analyst

Overview
Client is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to support manufacturing operations and IT initiatives across multiple factory locations. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring technology solutions align with operational needs and business objectives.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in manufacturing environments, strong business analysis skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while delivering well-documented requirements, testing, training, and process improvement initiatives in a regulated manufacturing setting.

Core Responsibilities
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for IT solutions supporting manufacturing operations.
• Create Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), process flows, use cases, test cases, and other project documentation.
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment of business needs and technology solutions.
• Lead small projects or workstreams, managing scope, schedule, and costs from initiation through completion.
• Facilitate meetings with internal teams, vendors, and third-party partners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support system testing and validation activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ, while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Perform functionality and usability testing, develop and execute UAT scenarios, document results, and manage defect resolution prior to go-live.
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives by identifying gaps, defining requirements, and optimizing workflows with cross-functional teams.
• Partner with support teams to transition projects into operational maintenance and provide post-implementation support.
• Own project transition deliverables, including system configuration documentation, support guides, knowledge transfer materials, and end-user training.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 5 to 8 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or Project Manager developing, supporting, or implementing IT solutions.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to write clear and comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and related project documentation.
• Experience performing user acceptance testing (UAT), functionality testing, and system validation activities.
• Proven ability to lead small projects and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Strong collaboration, influencing, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills or Experience
• Experience with regulated environments.
• Experience with manufacturing systems.
