We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager for Healthcare Construction. This position is an exceptional opportunity for an individual who is passionate about the construction industry, specifically in the healthcare sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of healthcare construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Project Manager for Healthcare Construction, your duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Overseeing all aspects of healthcare construction projects, including planning, coordinating, and supervising all construction activities.
2. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.
3. Managing project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
4. Ensuring all construction projects comply with safety and building regulations.
5. Conducting site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.
6. Directing and supervising construction or related workers.
7. Preparing contracts and negotiating revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
8. Applying for and obtaining necessary permits and licenses.
9. Handling any problems or delays that arise during construction.
10. Providing regular updates to clients on the progress of projects.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Project Manager for Healthcare Construction position will have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on healthcare construction projects.
2. Proven experience in managing ground-up, TI, tenant improvement, renovation, and addition projects.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
4. Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and construction workers.
6. Proficiency in using project management software.
7. A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
8. Professional certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent are a plus.
