As an Integration Services Engineer, you will design, build, and manage secure, scalable integrations connecting cloud and on-premises systems. Your primary focus will be enabling seamless business operations by reducing integration complexity, automating processes, and utilizing reusable data patterns. Beyond hands-on engineering, you will participate in Agile planning, provide technical guidance, and monitor emerging technology trends while working both independently and collaboratively.

As an Integration Services Engineer, you will design, build, and manage secure, scalable integrations connecting cloud and on-premises systems. Your primary focus will be enabling seamless business operations by reducing integration complexity, automating processes, and utilizing reusable data patterns. Beyond hands-on engineering, you will participate in Agile planning, provide technical guidance, and monitor emerging technology trends while working both independently and collaboratively.
Your specific duties will include:
Integration Design & Delivery
- Design and implement integration solutions aligned to enterprise patterns.
- Build APIs, workflows, and event-driven solutions using Azure Integration Services.
- Translate requirements into specifications and interface contracts.
- Configure connectors, endpoints, authentication, and resiliency patterns.
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement improvements.
- Work with cloud engineering teams to integrate secure IT infrastructure, middleware, and data flows.
- Implement identity-based access and API security.
- Enforce governance standards and support audits.
- Build CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment.
- Use IaC (Bicep, Terraform).
- Partner with application teams, data, and security teams.
- Contribute to standards and best practices.
- Works with Application Software Engineers to produce software build for loading onto the target hardware from software source code.
- Uses established CI/CD tools and methodologies.
- Collaborates with cross-functional IT and engineering teams to ensure effective software implementation.
- Experience setting up and managing Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Experience with Azure datahub using SQL Server (with database skills to write DDL/DML, stored procedures, and triggers).
- Experience with Azure ETL capabilities using Function application and stored procedures.
- Experience configuring Azure Fabric and deploying its packaged components.
- Experience integrating AIS with Snowflake or Databricks.
- Experience integrating with Enterprise One (JDE) or similar enterprise applications (Salesforce, Workday, Zendesk).
- Experience implementing the Azure Landing Zone framework, setting up Azure security model, and accessing using Entra Id/MFA.
- Experienced at working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Able to work with technical and business partners.
