Position Overview

No two days look the same at Daryl Watson State Farm. We are hiring an Insurance Account Specialist in Halethorpe, MD who enjoys variety — helping existing customers with their policies one hour and winning a brand-new customer the next — and who wants to own those relationships for the long haul. Candidates who are fluent or proficient in Spanish and English are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the customer’s point of contact for quotes, coverage changes, billing questions, and policy reviews
• Handle policy questions, billing inquiries, and coverage changes accurately
• Serve Spanish- and English-speaking customers clearly and accurately
• Set appointments and move prospects through the sales process
• Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and customer records in the agency system
• Meet weekly and monthly sales and service goals
• Round out existing customer accounts by identifying coverage gaps and cross-selling during reviews
• Develop new business through outbound calls, referrals, and warm follow-ups

Qualifications

• No prior experience required — we will train you
• Fluent or proficient in Spanish and English, preferred
• Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through
• Willingness to obtain required insurance licenses
• Team-oriented with a positive, coachable attitude
• Comfortable balancing sales goals with day-to-day customer service
• Strong phone presence and clear, confident communication

Pay range: $45,000-$60,000 per year
